Wilde Coffee House & Café is Red Deer's first LGBTIQA+ centric locale.
We at Wilde strive for inclusivity and equality between all people and acts as a safe space for the LGBTQIA+ community and its allies. This safety is not only for our customers but extends to our Wilde family as well.
A safe space is defined as: "a place or environment in which a person or category of people can feel confident that they will not be exposed to discrimination, criticism, harassment, or any other emotional or physical harm."
I was taken by the power that savoring a simple cup of coffee can have to connect people and create community.
